I’m Stephen, a Perth based Australian voice actor who enjoys bringing scripts to life in a relaxed, collaborative environment. I place a strong emphasis on keeping sessions easy going and enjoyable, because the best performances come when everyone’s comfortable and engaged.

I’ve always had a strong interest in radio and voice work, which led me to formal in-studio voice over training and the creation of my first professional demos. From there, things moved quickly. I was soon listed by my first acting agent, and what began as a side project gained real momentum, growing into consistent professional work with a strong and varied client base. That growth has since led to representation with six respected agents across Australia and internationally.

My work spans major radio campaigns, both national and local, digital and social advertising, instructional and e-learning, corporate and long form narration, IVR and on hold messaging, public announcements, and character driven projects such as video games. I enjoy adapting my delivery to suit the brief, the platform, and the audience, whether that calls for authority, warmth, energy, or personality.

I predominantly record from my professional home studio in Perth, featuring a dedicated vocal isolation booth and broadcast quality equipment tailored to each project. I also regularly travel to studios around Perth to work alongside producers and audio engineers when an in-studio session is preferred.

Alongside voice acting, I work full time as a Police Officer and have done so for over 13 years. That background brings a calm, reliable, and professional approach to every session.

WHAT I DO

I work across a wide range of voice over projects, from large scale commercial and broadcast campaigns through to local business advertising and everyday brand messaging. The scope may vary, but the focus stays the same.

Radio & Social Media Advertising

From local radio spots to national broadcast campaigns, I deliver clear, engaging reads that connect quickly with the listener. I’ve worked on campaigns for the Australian Government, the Tasmanian Government, Wise Bank, Patane Produce, Elecbrakes, and a wide range of other brands across radio and digital platforms.

I work comfortably with creative direction and can adapt tone, pace, and energy to suit the message, the brand, and the platform. And really, who ever said having a face for radio was a bad thing?

E - Learning, Training, Instructional Videos & Narration

I’ve voiced e-learning and training content for organisations including Main Roads WA, major construction companies, IGA, and many others. These projects often involve longer scripts and detailed information, where clarity, pacing, and consistency really matter.

Let’s be honest, online training isn’t usually anyone’s favourite task. A well matched voice with the right energy can at least make it more bearable.

Announcer

I provide announcer style voice over for a wide range of projects, including promos, public announcements, theme park announcements, safety briefings, and branded content. This style often calls for authority, confidence, and presence, while still sounding clear, approachable, and easy to follow.

I’ve worked across announcer roles for broadcast, corporate, and public facing environments, adapting the delivery to suit the setting and audience. Sometimes that means big and bold, other times calm, reassuring, and very clear about where to stand and what not to touch. It’s all about reading the room. Or the script. Usually the script.

On Hold (IVR) Messages

On hold and IVR messaging is where it all began for me. Early in my voice over career, this space helped build real momentum, and I’ve since completed over 100 IVR and on hold projects across a wide range of industries.

These projects are all about clarity, tone, and brand consistency. You’ve quite possibly heard my voice guiding you through menu options or apologising for an ongoing delay. Sorry about that.

Video Games & Character Voices

I work in character driven projects including video games and interactive media, where performance, consistency, and personality really matter. These roles range from grounded, realistic characters through to more expressive performances, depending on the world and tone of the project.

I’ve been a video game nerd for as long as I can remember, and that hasn’t changed. I still play regularly, with Halo and Call of Duty firmly in the rotation, so stepping into this space feels natural. My ultimate voice over goal? One day standing in a booth and delivering the words every gamer knows. "Finish him!"
